Job Description

Operam Education Leadership Recruitment and Operam Education Group are proud to be working in partnership with a successful community based, secondary Academy in Cambridgeshire. This OFSTED graded ‘Good’ Academy in Cambridgeshire are expanding and looking to appoint three teachers to their MFL Department on a permanent basis for September 2024.

This large Academy in Cambridgeshire is a successful, fully inclusive secondary school at the heart of its community. They take pride in providing an engaging and supportive environment in which all students feel empowered to reach and embrace their full potential with confidence.

The incumbent teachers of MFL would be joining a department who are committed to nurturing the abilities of every child with a curriculum which promotes academic excellence and is delivered by subject specialists. Pupils are given the platform to succeed and be happy with a wealth of extra-curricular activities on offer in conjunction with high expectations, students’ hard work, commitment and the supportive relationships that exist between staff, students and their parents/carers.

The academy is proud to have high expectations of behaviour, a commitment to great standards of teaching delivering a knowledge-rich curriculum, and positive working relationships with all members of the academy community. There is a clear vision to open doors for every students’ future and develop in them a life-long love of learning.

Their CPD programme is both department-based and in collaboration with academies within the family and external partners. Wide-ranging opportunities for professional development are available for staff at all stages of their career, including ECTs, experienced classroom teachers, middle and senior leaders within this vibrant and diverse school.

Shortlisting will take place in the next week/10 days with a view to interviews and assessments in the middle of May. The roles will start in September 2024 on fixed term and permanent contracts.

Please note salary will be based on experience (experienced teachers with TLR) – £40,000 – £52,525
